B. WHAT WE WILL DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION (PURPOSES) & LAWFUL BASIS
We collect and use your personal information to:
- register and manage your participation in the African Healthcare Association (AHA) and other Feat Healthcare activities,
- communicate with you about updates and relevant opportunities,
- we may share your information with selected partners for their own purposes;
- we and/or our partners may receive money or other value from such sharing, and
- we may send you our marketing messages.
Our primary legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time without affecting prior processing carried out before withdrawal.
C. WHAT INFORMATION WE COLLECT
- Identity, contact details, and relevant clinical and or research responsibilities (i.e., name, email, phone, country of residence, organization).
- We do NOT seek to collect “special/sensitive” categories (e.g., health, biometrics, beliefs) unless clearly necessary and with additional safeguards and consent. We do NOT knowingly collect data of children under 18 without appropriate authorization from a parent/guardian.
D. WHO WE SHARE IT WITH
- Service providers that process data on our instructions (IT, communications, storage). These providers must not use your data for their own purposes.
- Selected sponsors and partners who may wish to contact you directly.
E. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS (YOUR DATA WILL BE STORED/ACCESSED IN THE UNITED STATES)
Your information will be stored and accessed in the United States. The United States may not offer the same level of data-protection as your country. At present, Feat Healthcare, Inc. does not use standardized international data-transfer clauses. Where required by law, we will implement appropriate safeguards before transferring or will refrain from transferring until such safeguards are in place. Where permitted, we may rely on your explicit consent to the transfer after providing this risk notice.
F. HOW LONG WE KEEP IT (RETENTION)
We will retain the information that you provide or that we collect for as long as necessary to fulfill our legitimate business purposes, to satisfy the purposes that the information was collected for, to provide our services, to provide you with the services and comply with your requests, and as legally required to comply with applicable laws.
